Some of the events include actual photographs, weather maps, and other statistics. More data will be added all the time along with new features. You will also be able to look at all tornado tracks from 1950 to 2014 using Google maps. All you have to do is tap on the tornado icon and you will see the tornado rating, date, injuries, fatalities, path length, and width. You can zoom in and find out if any tornadoes have affected your neighborhood. It's important to remember no tornado track is completely straight as displayed on the app, but it is very close. There have been more than 5 thousand severe hail reports across Arkansas since 1955. Those have been categorized by hail size and are plotted on Google maps. Skywarn meets social media in the Arkansas Weather App. Arkansas has one of the most active twitter hashtags #ARWX. Join in the conversation and track weather with thousands of Arkansans and listen to ham radio operators from around the state track severe weather. More information will be added as it's researched.
